The cake was perfect! It was well made, tastes fresh and delicious. We really enjoyed the delicate hojicha flavour and the sweet and tangy mandarin taste to cut through. Even within the layers had little texture surprises that delight the tastebuds. Absolutely made the birthday girl’s day. Definitely coming back for more!

Fresh, light, full of flavour. My Asian mother who is picky with desserts gave it the ultimate compliment- "not too sweet". It was so good that the next day I caught her having a little bit for breakfast!!!! We will be ordering from here again.

This tea lover cake was a big hit and definitely the right choice to choose after having heavy cheese birthday dinner. The cake tasted so light, not too sweet and refreshing! Just the right after-dinner treat.

The hojicha flavour was great and mandarin was a great combination! The cake did come slightly melted but Sam was very fast in responding and he provided me with a solution as it was for a birthday the same day :)

Ordered this hojicha and mandarin cake for my husband’s birthday and it was excellent. The hojicha flavour was smooth and fragrant, nicely balanced by the light citrus from the mandarin. Not overly sweet and very well made. We’ve tried several flavours from Sam Baking High before and they have all been consistently good. Beautiful presentation and great service as always. Highly recommend.

Very delicious cake. Would score 5 stars if the cake doesn't fall off easily when being cut. Probably less filling inside could help but then I won't complain about it at all.
